It is mainly used as an odor curtain or to cover e.g. intermediate landfills, drilling muds on construction sites, composting plants, waste containers, etc.<\/p>\n<p>The filter mats are very robust, air-permeable and UV-resistant for years. The contained activated carbon (1.2 or 2.5 kg\/m\u00b2) is specially designed to filter odors as well as pollutants for an extremely long time.<\/p>\n<p>Since the activated carbon layer is fixed purely mechanically (without adhesives or resins) between 2 filter mats, 100% of the activated carbon surface is available for odor absorption, unlike other products. The two outer filter layers made of tear-resistant and UV-stabilized geotextiles protect the intermediate activated carbon layer, prevent direct contact with soil or waste materials and thus prevent contamination.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><div class=\"flex_column av_one_half  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding   \" style='border-radius:0px; '><p><div style='height:10px' class='hr hr-invisible  '><span class='hr-inner ' ><span class='hr-inner-style'><\/span><\/span><\/div><br \/>\n<section class=\"av_textblock_section \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock  '   itemprop=\"text\" ><p>The standard width of up to 5.0 m reduces the number of necessary overlaps and thus the risk of leakage or leaks. In addition, the approx. 1.5 &#8211; 3.0 kg\/m\u00b2 mats are easy to protect against lifting due to strong gusts of wind.
